And I love that Islam allows us the flexibility and the opportunity to question and criticize, and to really make the deen meaningful for us as individuals on a personal level. I.e. it's not just about blindly following whatever your parents, grandparents have always done (no disrespect to them). And the journey back to Islam has been so lovely, masha'Allah.
It makes me that much more grateful for this ultimate blessing of Imaan.
Alhumdulillah thats great to hear. For me, my core has always will be appreciating and loving Allah first and foremost, layered with the beauty and happiness of my family and loved ones. THere is no greater love for me that the free things in life...:)
