Farewell June, Hello Newlyweds


This is partly why I've been so busy lately.

 Vivy and Fadza telah selamat diijab kabulkan a.k.a. they finally tied the knot, alhamdulillah!
They had the nikah (solemnisation) on Friday and their respective wedding receptions on Saturday and Sunday.
Plus, the uplifting Being ME (Muslimah Empowered) conference was also held on Saturday. That's Yasmin Mogahed in the picture and yes, of course I had to meet her and take a picture with her. She's so inspiring mashaa Allah.

Vivy and Dean are like THE most adorable couple around! I've been following their love story ('K, more like their blog, or HER blog, or...whatever, you get the poing) for awhile now. I don't know them personally and never met them (we're continents/oceans apart). Yet I was a bit suprised at the joy THEIR happiness has brought me, m'A. Maybe I'm weird like that, but I felt better knowing Vivy and Dean's love story and seeing (pics of) their union, with family/friends around them (including you, Ms. Glowy...lol, ma'A). With all the craziness in the world, their love/union shows there is still some beauty/joy left. May Allah grant them all the happiness in the world, amiin!
